Parguera Water Sports took its first baby steps in the summer of 2007. Master Captain Mendoza, founder of PWS, comes from two very important and influential backgrounds in his life: he worked as a Senior Sales executive for FedEx and the most important influence was his beloved father. He is also known as “Captain Uchy Mendoza”.
The summer of 1977 marked the start of his learning process. Going with his father as deckhand on unaccountable Marine Science Research Expeditions and Commercial Fishing Trips. Love and fascination for one of God’s amazing creations – the ocean – were the elements that ignited this small company. At Parguera Water Sports, services are provided day & night. We offer everything from supervised kayak tours in the bioluminescent Puerto Rico waters to boat charters around the island.
